This is one of a series of interviews completed by the Milton Historical Society (http://miltonhistoricalsociety.ca) as part of the production of the book "Milton Remembers WWII 1939-1945". Several veterans of Milton and the surrounding community were interviewed by MHS staff to document their experiences in Milton, their service to Canada in WWII and the impact that this had on their life. This is the interview of Lt. Barbara Havard, an Occupational Therapist working in England in a General Hospital throughout the war. Her husband Lorne Havard, a patient at the time, appears also in this interview collection. This interview was conducted by Ken Lamb on April 5, 1994.
